Permanent installations have focused on mapping current locations' lesser-known or forgotten histories alongside current roads and towns. By locating ghost towns, past names, and former Native American lands without distinguishing existing towns and roads, collective "forgetting" --and possibly the very concept of property-- are interrogated through a palimpsest of place names.
