Walking the Zócalo

Walking the entire perimeter of the zócalo of Puebla, Mexico, the main town square, is largely sequestered for tourists and local citizens but not vendors, in contrast to traditional use of city plazas dating to pre-Hispanic civilizations. In this video, I walk the perimeter adjacent to sounds of hawkers and fountains, a tourist but with gaze directed at the stones of the plaza.
